Mr.Joseph Pittman

Joseph "Joe" Pittman is a native of Chicago, IL. Born and raised on the Westside of Chicago, growing up in both the East Garfield Park and Austin Community, Joseph uses his life as a mission to impact youth. Utilizing the slogan "It is easier to build strong children than to repair broken men." - Fredrick Douglass, Joseph plans to bring forth reformation, healing, and transformation in the field of Education by impacting the lives of children all over the city of Chicago.

Joseph studied Multimedia Design and Development at Devry University and later received his Bachelor of Science in Elementary Education at the University of Phoenix. Joseph has worked as an Educator for a private school, Board Member for several Youth Empowerment Groups and continues to be a staple in the urban community and beyond.

Joseph came on board with HOPE Excel in January of 2015 as the Lead Mentor for their Boys to Men Mentoring Group. Since then, Joseph has been promoted to Director of Youth Programming and has taken on the task of leading the Marketing and Branding Department.

Joseph is married to Deidra and they have a blended family of 4 consisting of 2 boys and 2 girls.
