Workforce Development Grant
We are honored to be recipients of the Workplace Development grant. The Workforce Development Grant is a transformative opportunity designed to support organizational growth while strengthening the economic foundation of the communities we serve. Through this funding, we aim to scale our operations, expand our impact, and enhance workforce readiness by equipping individuals with the skills necessary to succeed in today’s evolving job market.
Glo Girls is a new mentoring program for girls ages 8–14 designed to build confidence, leadership, and life skills through small-group mentoring, hands-on workshops, and positive role models; participants meet weekly to explore topics like self-esteem, goal-setting, STEM, financial literacy, and creative expression, while mentorship pairs provide consistent support, encouragement, and guidance both in-person and virtually; the program emphasizes safe, inclusive spaces, measurable personal growth, family engagement, and community service opportunities to help each girl discover her strengths, set achievable goals, and develop the tools to succeed in school and beyond.
